Video Checklist
Just like packing for a trip, it’s always a good idea to run through a list to make sure you have everything you need. So to make sure you have everything you need for delivering an amazing video, we made a checklist for you. Run through to make sure you’re all set to apply for positions!
Content:
- Lesson objective is stated
- Clear instructions
- Various checks for understanding
- Positive and engaging body language
- Film the entire lesson
Visual:
- Lighting is bright
- Camera is secure and set at a straight angle
- Your face is visible
- Writing on whiteboard is visible
- Faces of children are not shown
Audio:
- “Do Not Enter” sign is posted outside door
- Cell phone is on silent
- Your voice can clearly be heard
- No or very little background noise
Editing:
- Video shows direct instruction and/or guided practice
- Video length is 10-15 minutes
- No or very little special effects
- Footage is streaming (no cutting & pasting)
